Review: Okay so I was so excited to get a chance to read this! I really enjoyed The Body Finder, and was looking forward to the sequel.
The concept to this series is very original and that was true for the sequel as well. I really did not know what was going to happen or expect from this book being the second in a series, but it certainly did not suffer from a sophomore slump! At times the plot slowed down, but then it picked back up again. There was a ton of mystery in this book which I loved for I found myself guessing and anticipating what would happen the whole time while reading!
Violet grew immensely in Desires of The Dead. She is more independent and is now starting to accept her “gifts”. Jay messed up a bit, but I found myself forgiving him. He was kind and sincere as always and very protective. The minor characters participation in the novel was kind of different. They weren’t a huge part of the story, yet without them nothing would have happened.
Desires of The Dead is a book full of heart wrenching anticipation and originality one would be foolish not to read.

Jay! <3 He and Violet will always be one of my favorite couples.
