Super full Moon A.K.A. The Perigee Moon

So as you all know sometimes I hold giveaways that fit with moon cycles and this time is no different. I have been holding multiple giveaways all month for this very night!! The Perigee Moon! It only occurs once every 18 years. Some think it causes natural disasters, but it does not for the last two have passed without incident. So why should you go and look out your window at it well a quote from NASA says:

"The last full Moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993," says Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory in Washington DC. "I'd say it's worth a look."~~~NASA

I probably didn't explain it enough for you so, I have NASA here to help me!

So what does this mean to a book reviewing blog? Well I would say that you should all keep silver daggers on you for the werewolves are going to be transforming like crazy. Also be careful for on regular full moons people get kind of off, but this is a Perigee moon so I wouldn't be surprised if people start acting really strange. Anyways I hope you heed my advice. I know I have silver close by!!

Also go out and take a break from reading and appreciate the universe! THIS only happens ever 18 years! If you happen to take a picture send an image to me and I will have a bit of a surprise for you!

  1. I hope that you were able to view it - we weren't because of the rain and cloud cover. (just like haleys comet in 3rd grade) Oh well, I will remember waiting for it and hopefully tonight it will be just as beuatiful.
