YA Heroine Tourney! (Alex of Half-Blood Needs You)(Giveaway)

Well the The YA Sisterhood is at it again pitting our favorite characters against one another for some epic battles. This time around though it's all about the females! Check out the bracket below for the match ups and winners so far! 

Some of the winners I have to say have shocked me, but really I am not surprised because these characters have some pretty sweet advocates who will do just about anythig to get your vote and proving why their Heroine is the best. (Side note: every time I type heroine i feel like i am talking about drugs) 

The match I need to talk about today is Alex (Half-Blood) and Rose (Vampire Academy). All I can to day is that is going to be one heck of a battle. 

The advocate for Alex who is Momo from Books Over Boys is doing a spectacular job swaying me to the Alex side! I will talk why I am leaning towards Team Alex below but need to get some more info out there!!

OH MY GOD!! Alright so Jennifer L. Armentrout just said this about the contest and I am freaking out here!!

500 VOTES: If Alex reaches 500 votes, I will give you a juicy scene from Pure. It involves a pool, but will be edited to avoid spoilers.

750 VOTES: If Alex gets 750 votes, I will give you Chapter 16 from Half-Blood in Aiden's POV. Yes, that chapter.

1000 VOTES: If Alex gets 1000 votes, I will give you Chapter 26 from Obsidian in Daemon's POV.

Yes, that chapter.

WINNING VOTES: If Alex wins against Rose, I will write a very lengthy scene/basically a freaking novella from Aiden's POV about a trip he and Leon took that involved searching down a certain daimon that got away at the end of Half-Blood. Now. If she wins, all of this will take me some time, of course.

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. Okay so the whole juicy scene from Pure is like amazing but that scene from chapter 16 is ahhh I need Aiden St. Delpi's point of view on that scene like I need air. People I am not being dramatic!!  While I haven't read obsidian (its in the mail) I really think I will want that scene as well. Also the final prize of winning is like something that I want super badly right now.

Alrighty so why am I so into Alex and not Rose? 

Okay well I kind of think it is a hard choice, and I have thought about this match in great length. I have read all the VA novels and the first two of JLA novels, so I had the necessary info needed. I think alex is better developed in the first novel than Rose was throughout the whole VA series. The fact that I could relate to Alex pretty much sealed the package. Alex was vulnerable but held her own and didn't give in and still was able to retain friends and build relationships. Which is why I am voting for Alex. YOU NEED TO TO!
